If we feel that we haven't accomplished anything and every opportunities that we seize are always slipping through our hands, instead of being down and disappointed, lets start counting our blessings and be thankful for them. The aim of life is appreciation and there is no sense in NOT appreciating things.. And there is no sense in having more of them if you have less appreciation of them. Since we cannot have everything in the world, let's be grateful for everything we have in this world.
As I take a breather from my very challenging work, thoughts of how really blessed I am came flodding my mind. I believe that everything around us was perfectly created by God for certain reasons and purposes and we should never take for granted all those little things around us that seems of none importance to us for even the greatest thing comes in the package that we least expect. That statement was based on real life experience. Almost exactly a year ago, in my previous company, there was this "little thing" that always caught my attention. This "little thing" is a neon-colored kero-keropi stirrer, which was owned by my former officemate.. He claimed that this stirrer is very important to him and it was given to him by a good friend. So maybe just to annoy him, I would get this stirrer and hit it to the table as if I was holding a drum stick. And when this guy saw what I am doing, he would get it to me as if I stolen one of his most precious-priced possession and return it back to its original place properly. I kept on doing that until one instance, I got curious about the person who gave the stirrer to him. So I ask him about it and he told me some good and fascinating things about his friend. So this conversation far stirred-up my curiousity of knowing his friend personally. So he introduced me to his friend and gave me her contact numbers. And from there, great things really happens..
I didnt expect that this "magical stirrer" will stir up my life and lead me to the greatest birthday gift I ever received, and its knowing the person that I will love and spend my whole life with...
